INFRA ry is the association for civil engineering and infrastructure contractors in Finland. It operates within the Confederation of Finnish Construction Industries RT.
INFRA acts as an industry and employer association, representing companies that build and maintain highways and municipal infrastructure, and produce the necessary aggregates and asphalt for construction. Members also offer demolition, recycling and lifting services as well as material logistics services for the mining industry, for example.
INFRA promotes the success of its members and sustainable infrastructure production from an environmental, human and economic perspective. We take initiatives and proposals, negotiate working conditions and influence regulation.
The association consists of around 1,500 member companies, ranging from small, family-owned businesses to large nationwide infrastructure companies. INFRA members account for approximately two-thirds of the total value of infrastructure construction in Finland, which is worth about 10 billion euros annually.
The main goal of INFRA is to ensure that the Finnish infrastructure industry remains competitive and that the operational environment for contractors is functional, supporting both the economy and daily life.
