Founded in 1954, El-Björn is a Swedish manufacturer that develops and produces temporary power distribution, heating, dehumidification and lighting equipment at its facility in Anderstorp, Sweden. Its customers include the construction industry, industrial clients and equipment rental companies. Our operations are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
El-Björn Oy has operated in Finland since 2015. We sell equipment manufactured within the group and provide complete solutions for construction-site climate control, from equipment to remote monitoring and energy reporting.
El-Björn is part of the United Power group (United Power AB), whose majority shareholder is Connecting Capital. The group comprises two divisions: El-Björn (Sweden, Norway, Finland and the United Kingdom) and Satema (Norway, Sweden, Latvia and Finland), with production facilities in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Latvia. In Finland, the group is represented by El-Björn Oy, Vohek Oy and Jonator Oy.
What we bring to data center projects
– Temporary power and backup power: distribution boards, transformers, site lighting and backup power solutions from group companies.
– Heating and dehumidification: construction-phase heating with ELL heat pumps, hydronic systems and pellet-based solutions, as well as dehumidification.
– Energy management: El-Björn Solution remote monitoring, controlled process, and energy and CO₂ reporting (e.g. BREEAM and RTS).
We want to bring our expertise in construction-phase energy efficiency and climate control to the Finnish data center community, helping to reduce energy use and emissions before a data center is even operational.
