Antti “Jogi” Poikola has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Finnish Data Center Association (FDCA). He will assume his role on 2 February 2026.
Finland now has an exceptional opportunity to become a leading country in sustainable digital infrastructure in Europe. The data center industry is growing rapidly in Finland, and in his role as Managing Director of FDCA, Poikola will play a key part in strengthening the visibility and recognition of the sector.
Poikola brings extensive experience in information and technology policy, public affairs communications, and building national and European networks. He joins the Data Center Association from Technology Industries of Finland, where he has served as Lead Expert in the data economy.
As Managing Director of FDCA, Poikola will be responsible for the association’s day-to-day operations, stakeholder collaboration, and the development of activities in close cooperation with the Board and the member companies.
Poikola is highly motivated to work towards ensuring that Finland remains an attractive location for data centers and that data centers deliver tangible benefits to Finland:
“Internationally, Finland is known as a country of sustainable data centers. We must fully leverage this position and build a strong Finnish ecosystem around data center investments.”
Founded in 2014, the Finnish Data Center Association represents Finland’s rapidly growing data center industry. In addition to data center operators, the association’s members include a wide range of service providers involved in data center construction, maintenance and operations, consulting firms, equipment manufacturers, educational institutions, regional development companies, and other stakeholders. FDCA’s growing membership already includes more than 200 companies.
